Welcome to the Rhode Island Workforce Literacy Collaborative. With funding by the Human Resource Investment Council, our Collaborative provides a wide range of staff development opportunities for adult educators and program managers. All programs are offered free of charge.

We focus on professional development opportunities for educators and other agency staff to improve their ability to serve the workforce literacy needs of Rhode Island adults. Workshops are led by agency and industry experts in the field of workforce education.

We provide opportunities to meet with members of the business community, to hear from them about the skills needed by workers to be successful in the local economy. Our goal is to provide educators and other agency staff with the most up-to-date techniques and information available to help adult learners be successful in the workplace.

The Collaborative also helps agencies gain the knowledge and skills they need to successfully develop and manage worksite programs with Rhode Island companies.
